Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Observing and respecting Google Privacy Policy, the game NuR does not collect any type of data. However, the game has an integration with Google’s API for Google Play Services, in order to perform the following actions:
- Send user’s highscore to Google Play Services leaderboard
- Unlock various achievements registering changes on Google Play Services for users
To do so, we need to use these Non Sensitive Scopes:
To better understand, here’s how each scope works:
/auth/games
: Useful for manipulating your Google Play Games account, positioning you the rank, awarding you achievements and xp/auth/games_lite
: Same as the previous scope, but for lite versions/auth/drive.appdata
: Useful for saving game data on the user’s Google Drive. Is not yet implemented, but we plan to add the cloud storage in the future, to avoid data loss if the user happens to use a different device.
